Ian Lee is an interior designer based in Vancouver.

Ian is interested in how the built environment can shape the way we will live and work in the future. Past projects include multiple co-living and co-working spaces through which he explores the possibilities of shared space that is becoming the new norm in many urban areas.

His process puts emphasis on discovering multifunctionality and modularity with refined visual coherence in each and every project. With a background in interdisciplinary spatial design and customer experience research, his approach to design combines observational and analytical methods.

Ian holds a master’s degree in design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where he led a 2-year research project on the design of the contemporary and future workplace. His thesis is part of British Columbia Electronic Library Network.

Ian’s work has been featured in Dezeen, Leibal, Architectural Digest Italia, Label Magazine, and Treehugger.

Ian is a co-founder of a multidisciplinary design practice Casestudy Studio. Any project or collaboration inquiry can be sent to il@studiocasestudy.com or @ian_____lee
